A fine place to dine in and eat

Named after a Grandfather football player at USC

Wally, his daughter now runs the business

Fresh bread and brick oven pizzas

Sawdust on the floor, everyday fresh and new

Bring charm to the place and wooden booths

Carved with names after so many years and people and faces graced this fine place.

Tucked in Kalispell, Montana

In the Northwest, always has been a place that is the best

Freshly cut Mushrooms everyday

A homemade pizza sauce recipe tucked away

Freshly made pork sausage don’t forget to add

The Cumin and Sage!

Mozzarella, Monterey Jack blocks of cheese in the back

Onions diced and green peppers too

Throw in a Jalepeno or two…

A fine place to meet the “Mayor of Moose’s”

In his regular seat,

A beer in hand and a peanut shell cracked to eat the nut meat

Bartenders pour micro brews  -to Miller Genuine Draft

While Ladies cook up a storm in the kitchen in the back…

Mooses Saloon on Main Street,

A place I worked at in my youth.

Taking orders, running meals,

I was always on my feet

An eight hour shift made it a day,

Five days a week and I got paid

Tips we received all counting and sharing

Among us cooks, everyday I had a different duty

But all I could do, and handle with care

Now my Mom’s Granddaughter, my niece

Works at a Pizza Kitchen at 16

Her first job, so excitedly she runs

To be a part of the team…

Here in Virginia, she renews my legacy

Of working at a pizza kitchen…

Moose’s on Main Street is still there,

One day I’d like to go back and eat for myself

The pizza I did once so much care
