HUMAN CONNECTION

The shades are open,

    The moon is out

Another day,

     I was out and about

People, happy, and sure of their work.

    Some places open, 

Some places closed.

    So good to see so many faces

Get everything on my list

    But some items unavailable,

Happy faces

    Are good to see

People proud to be working

    And helpful to me

I say “thank you for your service” 

    To the grocery store clerk

I gave the number of my computer guy 

    To my Uber driver

Human Connection

    It beats staying in the same place,

Inside from the street. 

    Its good to get out

See what the world is about

    Every day is a new day,

A new way to look at 

    The World

To be involved

    People need people

Even if it’s just for a

    Brief Moment
